Johan Santana may not appear in a spring training game for at least two weeks because of elbow tightness, and the ace wouldn't rule out missing an Opening Day start in Cincinnati on April 6.
Santana added that pitching the first game against the Reds is unimportant, as long as he doesn't miss a turn in the rotation.
"Everything starts April 6, but if it's going to be me or somebody else, it's tough to say right now," Santana said about Opening Day. "Right now, on paper, I'm supposed to be the one. But we've got to wait - what? - five more weeks to know that." Continue
