With Milwaukee's win in Cincinnati, the Mets' wild-card lead was sliced to 1-1/2 games - two in the loss column - over the Brewers. The Mets (86-69) begin a season-ending seven-game home stand tonight against the Cubs, who already have clinched the NL Central.
