Luis Castillo limps onto disabled list

Look at the bright side: Luis Castillo has through the 2011 season to prove to Mets fans that his four-year, $25 million deal wasn't a mistake. Castillo landed on the disabled list before Thursday night's series finale against the Cardinals with a strained left hip flexor. The Mets promoted second baseman Argenis Reyes and outfielder Chris Aguila from Triple-A New Orleans. The other spot opened with the Mets dropping from 13 to 12 pitchers by demoting Carlos Muniz.
